Will began volunteering at Market Forces in 2015, and now leads the organisation’s shareholder action, superannuation and asset management campaigning work. Market Forces is a not for profit environmental advocacy organisation, delivering campaigns to prevent investment in projects that would harm the environment and exacerbate global warming.

Will and his team work with community members – including super fund members, bank and insurance company customers, shareholders, and people affected by fossil fuel projects and climate change impacts – to hold to account the custodians of our money to ensure it is used to benefit and not damage the environment. The organisation launched in Melbourne in 2013 and has grown to deliver campaigns in key financial centres around the world, with particular focus on fossil fuel projects in Australia and Asia. Market Forces’ founder and Executive Director Julien Vincent was recently awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize, often dubbed the ‘Green Nobel’.
