Bec is the Co-founder and CEO of STREAT, a Melbourne-based food social enterprise that provides training and employment pathways to young people aged 16-24 years, and provides them with a healthy self, work and home. STREAT run a portfolio of seven food service businesses, including cafes, an artisan bakery, a catering company, and a coffee roastery. To date STREAT has worked with over 1,500 young people who have helped serve over 2 million customers, whilst gaining over 75,000 hours of support and training. Prior to starting STREAT Bec spent a decade at the CSIRO working in science communication.
