Hayden is a resident at Austin Health and Convenor of Doctors for the Environment Australia’s (DEA) Victorian Sustainable Healthcare Special Interest Group. His research includes quantifying the renewable energy use in Australian public hospitals and mapping the biomedical impacts of climatic change on organ systems. He is also an Honorary Member of the Department of Critical Care Sustainability and Planetary Health Committee at the University of Melbourne.
